for the vampire fan
Contact us is you have a vampire related site We do some link swaps and one way links Eventhough the vampire craze has only seemed to have taken off over the last few years, I've been a fan of vampires since I read Interview With A Vampire almost 30 years ago. For my fellow vampire fans I wanted share books, links and fan sites that I have found. My great vampire reads: Interview With a Vampire - This is the book that started it all for me. This is where I fell in love with vampires. I own all of the books in this series/set. The movie with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise did not do it for me, they just did not fit the picture in my minds eye. I do wish they would re-do this one with characters who have a lot more mystic and steamyness, :o). Anita Blake - Vampire Hunter Series - This series is right up there with Tru Blood in the sex and steamy department! I do however enjoy the books more when Laurel mixes more of the police work or suspense in with all the sex. It is another of my favorite vampire series and I am looking forward to when the books go to TV. The Argeneau Family Series (scroll down on the authors site to see a list of books in this series). - I stumbled upon this author while looking for books similar to the Anita Blake books. I was hooked on this series with the first read. I've read 7 of the 12 and have only been dissapointed by one book. The Sookie Stackhouse Series - I watched season one of Tru Blood in one night and then just had to go out and get the books. I am hooked on the books, looking forward to reading book ten. I do wish they had the books in WMA format for my Iphone, there are a few narrators who really bring the characters to life for the listener!
